As recently as 2023 a group of local businesses put together a parks and community centered masterplan. This vision considers food truck courts, a walking park, bike path, outdoor music space, and the types of amenities that contribute to a thriving community. The grain elevator holds many possible roles in such a vision, including a regional events space.
